The Los Angeles Fire and Pierce College Sheriff’s departments responded to the Great Hall after a student reported a woman more than 70 years old fell and hit her head around 1 p.m.

Pierce College Deputy Isaac Jorge said the woman had lacerations to her head and was transported to Tarzana Hospital for further evaluation.
