Brahmas soccer started season number 18 under head coach Adolfo Perez with a 2-2 draw against the Irvine Valley College Lasers.
Jade Stewart scored on a header to give the Lasers the lead in the 40th minute.
The Brahmas turned the game around in the second half. Keyonna Hill scored on her debut to tie the game at one. Gisell Cruz gave the team a 2-1 lead in the 61st minute.
However, in the 87th minute, Savanna Hayes tied the game.
The Brahmas play their first three games on the road before hosting Mt. San Jacinto College on Sept. 4, at 4 p.m.
The team is back on the field Friday when they San Diego Miramar College. Kickoff is scheduled for 2 p.m.
