BRIEF: New guidelines for on campus visits

New guidelines were put into place as the school prioritizes the safety of everyone due to the COVID-19 pandemic, according to a meeting conducted by Pierce College President Alexis Montevirgen.

All visits to the campus will be restricted to one hour. For faculty, they must schedule their visit with their department chair and dean.

If they are classified, they must speak with their manager/supervisor as well as their dean.

They must have their LACCD ID and be wearing a face mask for the duration of their visit. Also, the only entrance open will be on Winnetka Ave, where they must check in and out with the sheriff.

Those coming to campus are encouraged to bring hand sanitizer. Gloves will be available at the entrance.

Once a person enters their office, no one can be allowed in for 72 hours. It is important they check in and out with the sheriff so times can be recorded by facilities.
