Both pools at Schofield Aquatic Center are currently closed because of damaged coping.
Interim President Ara Aguiar said the Department of Public Health inspected and recommended both to be shut down.
“I’m working now with Plant Facilities to get the small
pool up and running,” Aguiar said. “We’re hoping that those repairs will take place in the next couple of months.”
Aguiar hopes the smaller pool will be open by spring.
