Not only can cameras cause a one-time fine for drivers, but it can have long lasting effects on car insurance policies, such as an increase on insurance premium or having to pay for driving school in order to not have the speeding ticket on a driving record.

Although the campus has signs saying to slow down and what the speed limit is, drivers often ignore those signs depending on if there is legal reinforcement or not.
