Living in California, Pierce students do not have to worry about being short of exciting games to watch. According to Metro Atlanta CEO, California has 15 professional sports teams across the NBA, MLB, NFL and NHL, the most in the United States, with New York coming in second with 10.
With the high amount of teams in the state, there is almost always a winning team to cheer.

With the often expensive ticket prices and subscriptions needed to watch live games, some fans don’t have the luxury of watching their favorite team. The prices and locations of these games can sometimes be difficult for a college student to participate. With events hosted by the school, it will be much easier for students to come and support the team that they love.
