Foster has been teaching for nine years at many other schools, such as Cal State Northridge, Cal State Channel Islands, Brooks Institute of Photography, College of the Canyons, Moorpark College and Oxnard College. Not only did Foster teach at College of the Canyons, but he also recieved his A.A. degree there. He received his B.S. at Cal State Long Beach and his M.S. in education at National University. Finally, he achieved his MBA at Kennesaw State in Georgia. In his free time, Foster has many activities that he enjoys, such as real estate and stock market investing. He also enjoys traveling, having visited 23 countries before. His favorites are Spain for its culture and Australia for its activities. “[Foster] comes to Pierce with a lot of teaching on real life experience in buisiness. He’s athletic, he’s outgoing and really personable. The students are going to love him,” said Dr. Raymond Wells, biology professor and faculty mentor to Foster. On the job, Foster is inspired by his students when they understand the material and they can apply it to their future careers. He chose his career due to his interest in business. “There’s a lot of real world applications to the material. It’s a serious business class. It’s not a walk in the park,” said Foster.
