Fresh start for the softball team
One of the few perks of coming off of a 5-35 season is that it’s hard to play much worse. Injuries and inexperience lead to a very forgettable year for the women’s softball team last season, which is why the team can’t wait to get the ball rolling on the upcoming spring season.

Finalists have already been picked from a pool of Los Angeles Community College District employees.
Christmas Oratorio
It was a merry night with Santa Claus and Pierce College Philharmonic Choir on Saturday in the Annual Family Holiday Concert at the Art Hill. The holiday concert started with the classical rendition of “Oratorio de Noel,” which was originally composed by Camille Saint-Saens in 1858.
Holiday nostalgia
With the holiday season falling upon us, it’s easy to get caught up in the consumerism and materialism that comes with the “door-buster” and “night owl” sales. The desire to please one’s friends and family with the newest in electronics or wardrobe may be on the top of the list for many people, but would it be too much to give a gift more meaningful? “Do unto others as you would expect they do unto you.
