While trying to find a parking spot at Pierce College may be tough and annoying, it does more than cause students to be late to class. All of that fuel emission being spread through the air is what global warming feeds on.

Jim is a professional. He works hard every day to do the best job he can on any given project and his customers have reaped the rewards of his natural talent and the pains he takes for his work. Bob works alongside Jim; he’s unmotivated, not particularly talented and puts in minimal effort.
New Pierce Web site hard to navigate
The highly anticipated, newly designed Pierce College Web site made its debut at the beginning of this semester. I was underwhelmed and disappointed. The Los Angeles Community College District mandated that all district Web sites use the new Content Management System.

If all Pierce students eliminate one environmentally-harmful habit, it would amount to more than 21,000 changes. Scientists around the world warn of ozone depletion, environmental pollution and global warming, which affect our lives directly.

Black History Month is a time to reflect upon the works and achievements of black people like Martin Luther King Jr., Rosa Parks and Malcolm X – pioneers who fought for equal rights, respect and freedom. Is it our job as a people to keep those dreams alive? Yes.
