Now, when the 50-year-old Pierce College student stands up to reveal his daunting height, he reaches for anything he can get his hands on: tables, door handles, or his 4-foot, 11-inch wife for support.
Another semester at Pierce College is coming to an end, and with this comes the ominous week of finals. Many will be clamoring to the library or organizing groups in order to get some studying done. Shakespearian plays of old are twisted into a laughing frenzy in “Goodnight Desdemona (Good Morning Juliet),” a tasteful comedic play that mixes Shakespeare with Lewis Carroll. The Community College Initiative, Proposition 92, will appear on the Feb. 5 ballot. The main benefits to community colleges under Proposition 92 are that it not only lowers and stabilizes fees, but also separates community colleges from the all-too-frequent budget battles between the Democrats and Republicans.
