It’s time to refresh Pierce’s Web site
Each semester the Pierce College Web site (www.piercecollege.edu) is plastered with the same old photos and content, giving the impression that the college’s electronic “business card” to the public, isn’t worth updating. Pierce is a vibrant place of learning, yet we suffer the embarrassment of old content on our Web site that is riddled with outdated information and broken hyper-links.

The Citrus College Fighting Owls picked apart the Pierce College Brahmas football team in a humiliating defeat, 44-13, Saturday at Citrus Stadium in Glendora. With this loss, Pierce now has a record of 3 wins and 4 losses, but only a 1-3 record against Western State Conference (WSC) opponents.

Scoring an exciting three goals against the one goal scored by Bakersfield College on Oct. 9, the Brahmas women’s soccer team was titled victorious. The team was happy about the result of the game that continued their winning streak this season. The team has yet to be beat by another school in the Western State Conference.

Now working on her Ph.D in Art History at UCLA, Abbamontian makes a living analyzing the myriad of artwork throughout history, helping students learn about the intricacies and impact of commonly ignored aspects of art.
