AIDS Awareness Week begins Oct. 20, kicking off with the AIDS Walk in Los Angeles Oct. 19 and ending Oct. 30. The week is dedicated to bringing attention and raising money to fight a disease more than 33 million people worldwide live with. It is something that everyone should be concerned and well-informed about.

When it first opened, there were people around campus promoting the Center to students. Since then, however, nothing has been done to make students aware of the building.
Women’s volleyball team extends home win streak to 55
The Pierce College women’s volleyball team, ranked first in the state defeated Ventura College Friday night in front of a packed crowd. The team, now 17-1 for the season has won 55 straight matches at home, a streak that dates back to October of 2002.
