Circle K club selling roses and candy
In celebration of Valentine’s Day, Circle K will be selling handmade roses made of Hershey’s Kisses for $1 each and red velvet cupcakes for $.50 on the Pierce College Mall until Tuesday.
The club has been selling roses and cupcakes since Thursday.
If customers choose to buy a dozen roses, they will get a promotional handmade keychain for free that can be purchased separately for $5.
Circle K is the college-level version of Key Club International, a service program for high school students.
“We organize service projects for children, senior citizens, or the environment,” Jessica Eto, Circle K’s vice president of administration, said.
The Circle K chapter here at Pierce is part of a district that spans California, Nevada, and Hawaii.
