Representatives from universities all over California will come to the annual fall College Fair and University Day tomorrow from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the Campus Mall.
Spokespersons will be on the mall from USC, UCLA, UCSB, UCSD, CSUN, CSLA and many more.
“Its good to get info,” said Joe Garcia, a student services aide in the Transfer Center. “When you transfer, you’ll know what to do. And it will go smoothly.”
Universities will be letting participants know what they’re looking for in transferring students, including GPA, evaluations and transfer credits.
Garcia recommends having some questions in mind before coming to the event, including questions about choosing a major, degrees and if financial aid is available.
“[Transferring] can be difficult, if you’re not prepared,” Garcia said. “It’s good for students to meet with representatives and transfer staff.”
“It is a great opportunity to meet with reps from UCLA, USC, CSUN, etc.” he said.
The college fair takes place every fall semester. In the spring, Pierce holds its annual UCLA-CSUN Day for students interested in transferrng to either university.
