Dear Editor:
As a mature and avid participant in Pierce College’s terrific ENCORE programs, I’ve witnessed firsthand, on many occasions, the sloppy habits of some ill-mannered students.
They discard their used bathroom paper towels in the sinks, on the floor, and even on the sidewalk outside the bathroom, when trash cans are readily available.
Clearly, these students never attended kindergarten, where little children become familiar with proper bathroom manners.
Perhaps they should revisit kindergarten prior to graduation.
