With their heads up and smiles on their faces, the softball team ended their season of ups and downs with something to be very proud of. Despite their many young players, girls dropping out and the team having only one pitcher, they managed to pull off almost triple the amount of last year’s wins, according to head coach Pat Grennan.

Genuine. Compassionate. Empathetic. Patient. My mom. One of the most important things in my life is to have a good relationship with my parents. My mom and I have always been extremely close. Students raise funds to find cure for cancer
The Quiet Hairgrowing Communi-team plans to raise cancer awareness and fundraising money at Pierce College by selling Arbonne International products every Monday in May, from which all profits will be donated to the American Cancer Society. Arbonne products are botanically based products that are made with natural ingredients.
Former Pierce president lectures on state of community colleges
Rocky Young, legendary former president of Pierce College, and Carl Friedlander, president of the Los Angeles College Faculty Guild, explained how community colleges are struggling in terms of money in a lecture entitled “community colleges and the state of education” for ENCORE students April 24.

Comeback not enough to secure playoff glory
