The Holiday season is just around the corner time for sweaters, scarves, gloves, hats and lets not forget the gifts. So much joy can be stressful especially when it comes to purchasing gifts for loved ones and friends. Here are some Pierce College students with insightful tips on what kind of gifts to get for and affordable price and creative way.

“My mom loves coffee, in the mornings she usually just grabs and old cup or mug. So for this Christmas I’m going to buy her, her favorite coffee and a mug in which i can hand paint so she can drink coffee and remember me even more,” said Edward Hernandez biology major.

“I have a lot of friends who are girls and what do girls love more than anything shopping. So I’m going to buy gift cards from H&M so they can get anything they want. So guys stop stressing and be wise and get H&M gift cards for your girl friends,” said Brandon Chavez 19-year-old art major.

“This Christmas my friend will get a Darth Vader glow in the dark belt. It’s going to be something that he can wear with his everyday clothe and will also remind him of who gave it to him,” said Elizabeth Chavez 18-year-old Nursing major.

“I still don’t know what to get for my closes friends but i think something thoughtful, affordable and meaningful will be good,” said Kevin Berberyan 19-year-old business major.

“My friend loves colorful prints. So I’m getting her a lot of stuff from Sidecca at the Northridge mall. I know she will love whatever i get her from there,” said Ruby Torres 20-year-old

“Shopping can be stressful especially when your shopping for a girl. That is why i’m avoiding the hassel and i’m getting my sister a digital camera so she can catch those Kodak moments,” said Crimonology major 20-year-old Frank Lobos.

“I always avoid over thinking on what to get for my friends and family so instead i prepare an early Christmas feast and give them that instead,” said Lily Mendosa 23-year-old Art major.

“For my twin brother i always get him new shirts, video games and DVD’s not only do i know he always likes what i give him but through the year i get to wear his shirts play and watch the video games and Dvd’s,” said 21-year-old Jose Jimenez Art major.

So there are some ideas. There’s no need to stampee people or get into fights over that new gadget or that newly release DVD. Planing is keen, knowing each of your loved one’s taste matters. and makes everything much easier. Remember the best ideas don’t always have to be over the top planing ahead and getting your holiday shopping early make the biggest difference.
