Agriculture festival brings fun for families

One could almost taste the funnel cakes and roasted corn from the sweet aroma of the food booths.

Off in the distance, a little girl smiled as she took her first ride on a small pony.

Overhead, laughter could be heard from children as they bounced off giant trampolines and soared high into the stratosphere.

Large, white laminated posters baring riddles were scattered all about the fairgrounds, providing attendees with information about agriculture in a fun, light-hearted way.

This was “Ag-Days,” a family event filled with fun activities held this past weekend at the Farm Center, which was presented by the Foundation for Pierce College.

Amy Darris, 32, brought her young daughter to the event for a fun-filled day.

“This is really great…all the kids are having such a great time here.”
