Pierce College baseball came out on top defeating College of the Canyons 10-6 at Joe Kelly Field today.
Both teams were tied in the Western State Conference with a record of 11-8 and needed to win in order to have a chance to make into the playoffs.
The Brahmas managed to keep their WSC playoff hopes alive despite getting off to a slow start being down 0-4 in the top of the third inning.
Outstanding offensive performances in the bottom of the third and fourth innings put the Brahmas in the lead 7-4, which they capitalized on.
