There are future construction plans for the north-end side of the mall including a new name for Swisher Park at Pierce College. At this point in time, everything is pretty vague due to the continuous planning.
According to Brian Silk the coordinator of Enterprise said as for now, the North side of the mall is yet being expanded.
“Eventually Swisher Park will have a new name, whatever this name may be,” said Larry Kraus the Associate VP of Enterprise.
He added that at this time he does not recall the future name for Swisher Park, but the Architects are looking into it. Therefore, are in the process of figuring out when to schedule the exact date for this future construction.
There are a few ideas up in the air, but nothing is yet for certain. No information has been given out, not until the architects and the project managers are fully aware of their plan.
As of now, Swisher Park has been used for several special events such as the graduation ceremony that occurs each year.
There is other construction being done at the Pierce mall across the Cafeteria and the Business Building 3200.
“It will probably be finished by the end of this year,” said Kraus.
