PFLAG discussion panel in Great Hall
“Parents, Families, and Friends of Lesbians and Gays”, a non-profit organization with over 350 chapters throughout the country, hosted a panel on March 17 in the Great Hall.
PFLAG, as it’s also known as, is an establishment that’s concentrated on 3 major missions. These missions are to support, educate, and advocate. The panel, which included Melissa Schwartz, Sylvia Weisenberg and Steve Krantz, answered a variety of questions from Pierce College students. Some of the more popular topics included religion, discrimination, and support groups.
