Pierce photo workshop in Beijing

A Pierce College law professor is conducting a three-week-long photography workshop in Beijing this summer.

Larry Kushner, assistant adjunct professor of political science and law, is collaborating with Beijing Normal University for this year’s photo work shop in China.

According to Kushner, the goal of the workshop isn’t just for his students to be able to take photographs in China.

“I really want them to be able to familiarize themselves with the country’s culture,” he said. “The Chinese know everything about us, but we know almost nothing about them.”

The workshop is open to anyone interested.
