Football team loses second straight

The Pierce College Football team was defeated by the Moorpark Raiders on Friday in their second game of the season with a score of 54-7.

Freshman quarterback for the Brahmas, Jake Basmajian, didn’t have a good game after he fumbled the ball once and was sacked twice in the second quarter.

At the beginning of the third quarter, the struggles continued for Basmajian as his pass was intercepted by Moorpark resulting in their 3rd touchdown of the game.

Within the last 10 minutes of the game two touchdowns as well as a two point conversions were made by Moorpark.

The Pierce College Brahmas will have their third game of the season when they visit Fullerton at  7 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 17th.
