Currently Pierce College is going through the accreditation process required to provide students with financial aid.
This accreditation process is required every six years.
Pierce College is preparing for the upcoming accreditation process that is approaching in two years by issuing student and faculty surveys in order to make sure that the campus is up to standards according to Febe Ruiz ASO Vice President.
“Students will begin to be surveyed to get an accurate perspective of where we’re at,” said Ruiz. “Students should be aware of what’s going on because if we were not to be accredited, financial aid would be completely cut.
Ruiz encourages students to participate in the surveys so the school can make improvements and find solutions to problems.
All students are welcome to attend ASO meetings which are hosted every Tuesday from 1p.m. – 2:30p.m. in the Great Hall.
