The Public Welfare/Environmental Committee is holding an “Environmental Awareness” event in the Great Hall Thursday, Nov. 17 from 3 to 6 p.m.
Green Peace and Heal The Bay will be present at the event, according to the committee’s chair, Shane Mooney.
Mooney also said that there will be a sign-up sheet at the event for a, “beach clean-up” taking place that weekend, Nov. 19 from 10 p.m. to noon.
