The Brahmas’ tennis team lost the game in Ventura on Tuesday with a final score of 5-4.
“We got robbed big time,” the head coach of Pierce’s tennis team, Rajeev Datt, said after the game. “The ref that was there made an atrocious call, I’m going after his job.”
Datt believes the game was lost due to referee David Oltman declaring that a ball hit Pierce player Eduardo Garcia during a doubles match.
“I made him take his shirt off , I got video on my iPhone,” Datt said, “There was no welt.”
The tennis team will have a conference game at their next match on April 13. The game will be in Ventura, the time has yet to be announced.
