Throughout the semester, Pierce College’s Career and Transfer Center has scheduled 42 workshops geared to inform and guide students through a host of common college-related pursuits.
The workshops will cover a variety of transfer and job-related topics, including getting accepted to California State University (CSU) and University of California (UC) campuses, as well as compiling resumes and approaching interviews. Almost all of the workshops meet in the Center’s workshop room.
The Center also hosts drop-in discussions with a Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) peer mentor from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) on Mondays from noon to 5 p.m., and with peer mentors from California State University, Northridge (CSUN) from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesdays.
