The Pierce College baseball team (4-6) lost 6-5 Wednesday afternoon in a close game to L.A. Harbor (2-7-1).
The Seahawks had an impressive performance from freshman Jonathan Hernandez who picked up his first win of the year going five innings with seven strike outs, two walks, and did not give up a single hit.
The Brahmas dug themselves in a hole early giving up six runs in the first five innings and were held scoreless for seven.
Pierce showed their fighting spirit rallying in the eighth inning scoring all of their five runs, but L.A. Harbor stood its ground holding onto the win.
