Softball team lose double header against Hancock

The Pierce College softball team lost their double header against Allan Hanock Thursday afternoon. They fell 11-3 in the first game of the double header and 8-0 in the second game.

Both games were mostly controlled by the Bulldogs. Pierce’s offense and defense struggled throughout both games. The Brahmas committed several errors on offense and defense.

Volunteer coach Greg Wertz says that the team has to focus more on the fundamentals.

“We have to get the fundamentals right, defensively and offensively,” Wertz said. “The softball team will continue to work hard to avoid future defeats.”
