The cafeteria has overcome its primary problems by fixing the glitches with new equipment and has trained its staff to open tomorrow Tuesday, March 25 in the cafeteria on the first floor of the Library / Learning Crossroads.
The Love Birds Café is offering another assortment of food for students. The “grab n’ go” menu will fit into the busy schedule of students on campus. A menu of smoothies, coffee and sandwiches will provide an additional option for hunger pains.
“I used to work at Starbucks,” Fonzie Aliga, manager said, “so there will be a lot of emphasis on coffee.”
Love Birds welcomes special drink orders. If one is ordered enough times they may even name it after you. Eventually they are planning to have prepared meals. This menu is just a start.
“We’re hoping to have discounted coffee and longer hours available for students during midterms and finals,” Aliga said.
