Four vehicles were involved in a collision in the parking lot of Pierce College’s Shepard Stadium around 9 a.m., just three days after a security officer’s foot was run over in Parking Lot 1.
A student in a Toyota vehicle pulled into one of the lot’s parking stalls. But instead of stepping on the brakes, the student stepped on the gas, which caused the car to make a hard right and hit three other vehicles, according to Sheriff’s Deputy Al Guerrero.
All parties involved were students.
“Be careful when parking in parking lots,” Guerrero said. “Obey all speed limits in the parking lot and on campus.”
