Pierce football opens the season with a win

The Pierce College Brahmas opened the season with a win against College of the Desert Roadrunners at John Shepard Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 12.

Desert scored first, but Pierce rallied to win the game 30-10. New head coach Jason Sabolic encouraged his players to keep their heads up, even after the tough start the team finished the first half ahead of the Roadrunners and that the Brahmas could win the game.

The Brahmas (1-0) will travel to Chula Vista on Saturday, Sept. 19 to play the Southwestern College Jaguars (0-2).
