The Brahmas won Friday’s match against the Victor Valley Rams in the last regular season home game before playoffs.
Pierce played two strong sets, making few errors and holding a lead over the Rams.
The third set was went to the Ram’s as they increased their level of intensity.
In response, the Brahmas were won the last set and ultimately the entire match.
This win will guarantee the team’s 14th conference championship in the last 16 seasons.
Pierce setter Peyton Moyles played a strong offense and defense. Both scoring and blocking multiple shots throughout the game.
She credits Pierce’s win tonight to the group’s high energy and teamwork and is optimistic about the upcoming playoff games.
“Honestly, if we play the way we did tonight, we are going to be really hard to stop,” Moyles said. “I firmly believe that we are one of the best teams in the state and that we can win, and we will win.”
