After the baseball team lost to the Mission College Eagles in yesterday’s game, the Wildcats applied more damage to the Brahmas beating them 8-2 at Joe Kelly Field.
With the loss the team drops their overall record to 15-15, while in conference they are now 9-5.
West LA, last in the conference, jumped early to take the lead in the third inning and managed to keep Pierce scoreless for seven innings until Pierce got on the board.
“The pitchers were getting behind in counts and walking too many guys,” said Bryce Vitt, who’s the catcher for Pierce.
The baseball team are back in action when they face the Wildcats again on Saturday at West LA. Game starts at noon.
