In honor of National Hispanic Heritage Month, the Associated Student Organization hosted the Hispanic and Latino Heritage Month Celebration at Pierce College’s Rocky Young Park on Sept. 25, 2019. ASO and MECHA club shared snacks and stories, and talked about the history and importance of the Latinx community. They offered agua frescas, snacks and games to interested students, bringing together the Pierce community and celebrating Latinx heritage.
