After a rollercoaster of emotions, the results of the 2020 election continue to come, but it seems as of right now former Vice President Joe Biden has won the presidential race.
Election night on Tuesday, Nov. 3, made everyone nervous and wary of the results. But after a few days, the Associated Press called the race, and I believe the overall election was a success.
Initially, I believed Donald Trump was going to be elected again. Not because I support him, but because he has amassed a large number of followers over the years and has gained popularity among many Americans.
But, my expectations were proven wrong, and I am extremely happy that they were.
I’d like to see a new president take office. During this crisis period, America should try to look for other ways and methods to remedy the problem.
We could use a new pair of eyes to help guide us and help us through this extremely tough time.
It’s still shocking even to fathom that Biden is our next president.
It makes me happy but curious at the same time. I’m excited to see where Biden’s presidency takes him and how it will affect the nation.
Although my hopes are high, I simply want Biden to help the country be a better and peaceful place.
The 2020 election is one of the most critical elections in our history because the president that becomes elected makes choices that will severely affect our future and the next generation.
Even though many have mixed opinions about this year’s election, I am content with the results and can’t wait to see what Biden does with his new position.
