A decent run of results this week saw Pierce College’s women’s soccer team draw at Santa Monica College and win at home against L.A. Mission College, but lose a key player for the season. As college students, most of our time is spent on the Internet. Whether doing homework, shopping or checking MySpace, much of your information is stored online. But be careful to whom you hand out information; it could be a scam known as “phishing.” Internet phishing is a trick where people send out bogus e-mails trying to get personal and credit information.

As the media keep me updated on the latest developments in the story, I start to wonder how long the trial will last.
