Numerous law enforcement agencies will be meeting with Pierce College students in the Great Hall tomorrow to discuss career opportunities in the expanding field of criminal justice.
“Justice Day,” an event organized by the Career and Transfer Center, will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., with representatives from the CIA, FBI, California Highway Patrol, and several others attending.
“We have a lot of students that are interested in criminal justice, and this is our way of highlighting the types of jobs that they can get into,” said Joanna Zimring-Towne, the Career Center Coordinator at Pierce College. “A lot of those students that are interested just don’t know how to enter the field.”
In addition to several branches of law enforcement, the event will also host members of the criminal justice departments at UCLA, CSUN, CSULA, and UCI.
