New Center for the Sciences opens its doors
After three years of construction, the Center for the Sciences opened its doors to students today. The new building, which has been under construction since 2007, includes a planetarium and several labs and classrooms for the physics, veterinary technology, planetary science, chemistry, nursing and geology departments .
Pierce College Council approves plan to build three photovoltaic arrays on campus
The Pierce College Council approved a plan yesterday to install three new photovoltaic energy arrays throughout campus during their regular meeting Thursday. Construction is set to begin during the Fall 2010 semester.
