Volleyball team rolls over West L.A.

The Brahmas women volleyball team wins another game as their winning streak increases to 25 in a row.

Pierce College beat West Los Angeles College in three sets on Friday.

“It was a team that we were expected to beat, and we did,” said head coach Nabil Mardini.

The Brahmas’ came strong out the gates as they dominated the first two sets with scores of 25-5 and 25-6.

“Were just playing some very good volleyball right now,” said Mardini.

Lindsey Kuramoto led the team in assist on Friday with 19 assist.

“At all different areas of the game we are doing a pretty good job,” said Mardini.

Pierce won the third set with a final score of 25-10.

“Were serving and passing very consistently which is helping us win so many games,” said Mardini.
