Tree fire contained

A fire broke out at about 11 a.m. between Oxnard Street and Wells Lane, less than a mile from Pierce College.

 

What sparked the fire is unknown, but fire captain Steve Perez confirmed that it was a “tree fire” and is 100 percent contained.
