The Pierce College women’s water polo team were defeated by Santa Barbara City College on Wednesday, Oct. 22.
Santa Barbara led the game 4-1 in the first quarter, but the Brahmas couldn’t catch up and lost 12-6.
The Vaqueros have won their fifth straight game.
“The girls are very hard working individually and team wise,” said Brahma coach Moriah Van Norman. “It was the best I’ve seen the team play all season”.
Van Norman said the team is coming together and are working hard, the game against Santa Barbara was no exception.
“Santa Barbara is a great team so it was nice to see the work paying off within such a dominant team,” Van Norman said.
The Brahmas overall record for this season 1-8.
The next game will be on Wednesday, Oct. 29 at Pierce against Ventura College at 3:30 p.m.
