Milo Anderson is new student trustee

Votes in the LACCD student trustee special election were counted Friday and Milo Anderson has been declared the winner.

Update Oct. 9, 2015 4:15 p.m.: A total of 917 votes were counted. Of those, 38 were discarded because they were illegible or improperly filled out. Of the 879 valid remaining ballots, 462 were cast for Anderson and 417 for his opponent, Ryan Navarrete.
