BRIEF: Football snaps two-game losing streak

Football took a trip to the desert and beat the heat, and the College of the Desert Roadrunners Saturday night.

Running back David Kates scored three times for the Brahmas, and backfield mate Doma Morris scored the deciding touchdown with less than two minutes to play.

The win brings the Brahmas record to 2-3 with the bye week coming next week before the start of conference play against Santa Barbara City College at home on Oct. 13.
