BRIEF: Men’s basketball win season opener

Men’s basketball started their season beating Glendale Community College 77-70 in the first game under head coach Casey Weitzel.

The game was originally supposed to take place at Pierce, but the south gym was used as a shelter for the evacuees.

Max Edwards led the Brahmas with 14 points. Samir Naser and Andre Banton had 16 points for the Vaqueros.

The Brahmas are back on the court tomorrow when they participate in the Pasadena Tournament.
