Moriah Van Norman will not be reapplying for the athletic director position as she will focus on getting her doctorate in mental health from the University of Southern California.
Van Norman took over in July 2017 after Bob Lofrano decided to retire after 10 years. She spoke to Vice President of Student Services Earic Dixon-Peters about her decision to step down.
She met with the coaches and athletic trainers last week to inform them of her decision.
Her plan is to return to teach English as Second Language, a class she taught while being AD.
More to follow.
