BRIEF: Men’s volleyball lose season opener

Men’s volleyball began their 2020 season looking to improve on last year’s 3-13 finish, but things didn’t go their way.

The Brahmas started slow losing the first set 25-11. Despite competing in the next two sets, they lost by the same score of 25-20.

Pierce had the lead in the second and third set, but the Rustlers had no problem in coming back. Serving and attacking errors also proved costly for the Brahmas.

Men’s volleyball are back on the court on Feb. 14 when they travel to Irvine Valley College. Game starts at 2 p.m.
