Pierce College Mall renovations soon to hit half-way mark
Reconstruction on the Mall is set to hit its half-way mark by the end of October or beginning of November. A new fountain, a sundial and a life-size Brahma Bull are set to decorate the new Mall.
Violent offender arrested outside college entrance
A man was arrested just outside the Pierce College entrance on Victory Boulevard and Winnetka Avenue today.
New Center for the Sciences opens its doors
After three years of construction, the Center for the Sciences opened its doors to students today. The new building, which has been under construction since 2007, includes a planetarium and several labs and classrooms for the physics, veterinary technology, planetary science, chemistry, nursing and geology departments .
