Head football coach Efrain Martinez will lead his Pierce College Brahmas up the 5 Freeway Saturday to battle the sixth ranked team in the state, the Bakersfield Renegades at 7:00 pm.
Pierce, on the outside looking in on the state pre-season football rankings, will be looking to make a strong opening statement, that they are in fact for real, that last season wasn’t a fluke, and that they are one of the teams to watch out for during the 2010 season.
