Usually, when a band puts together their sophomore album, the sound rarely changes to retain the loyalty of their fans. However, this is not the case with Panic At the Disco and their latest album, “Pretty.Odd”. Bringing down Vegas
Card counting is not easy, but “21,” a drama about six Massachusetts Institute of Technology students who make millions in Vegas off this legal tactic, makes it look like fun. Ben Campbell (Jim Sturgess) just celebrated his 21st birthday and has a lot on his mind.
ASO Open Mic Night
Despite a low student turnout, the recent Open Mic event sponsored by the Associated Students Organization had those who did attend nearly falling out of their seats. With its “paint your own theme” theme, the night began a bit haphazardly, as hosts going by the aliases Stylus and Mathematic goaded audience members into working up the courage to share anything with the crowd.
Face your feelings
“The hardest thing in the world is to watch the person you love, love someone else.” This statement can be true for people in many situations. It can be from a person’s first love to someone’s hidden crush, but at one point in my life I felt just like this for my best friend, who I will call “Ron.
Desperately seeking bodyguard
Owen Wilson stars in “Drillbit Taylor,” a PG-13 comedy about a homeless guy pretending to be a bodyguard to make some money off of three wimpy kids. It is the first day of high school, and Ryan (Troy Gentile) and Wade (Nate Hartley) are positive that they will be popular this year.

The Clinton Climate Initiative honored the Los Angeles Community College District’s Green Building Program, which is the highest environmental accolade in the state, but how much of the school’s efforts are going to waste? Every environmentally-efficient act the school and district takes seems to be countered by an almost equally harmful one.

Women’s History Month hits home
A group of men founded Pierce College in 1947, and when first opened, the entire student population was male. Currently, 56 percent of 20,000 students attending this school are female. Fifty-nine percent of all community college students in the U.S. are women, according to the American Association of Community Colleges.
Is the goal to simply win at any cost?
Recall the age-old adage: Nice guys finish last. While true to a point, recent history would indicate that this saying is no longer quite accurate. Nowadays, your run-of-the-mill average Joe finds his or herself trailing the ever- increasing line of ruthless competitors.
Nintendo follows up with another smash hit
The screen lights up, the Wii whirls and Nintendo’s masterpiece finally comes to life. Super Smash Bros. Brawl (SSBB) is the third game in its series and by far the best. At the manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $49.99, this game is worth every penny.
